Should I hit the art or drug store? HELP Please!!

I need a makeup brush.

The drug store will definitely have makeup brushes, so try there first and if you feel like they are too expensive go to the art store you might be able to find something cheaper there but not exactly the right shape.

I would not go to either.  If you want to get makeup brushes the one at the drug stores are not of good quality and they art store those are used for art not makeup.  You should by a quality makeup brush because long run, it is going to last you, if you take good care of them.  A good line of brushes that are not too pricey but good quality are Japoneque.  You can see line at http://www.japonesque.com/consumerhome.c...  My favorite brushes but they are expensive but they will last you a long time and are of exceptional quality are Shu Uemura

Paint brushes in my opinion are better than drug store brushes. I've got a few I've gotten from an art store like Michael's and they work almost as good as MAC's and its WAY cheaper. If you do go the art store, you should definitely go for the Loew Cornell paint brushes, they are REALLY soft and work great on my face (especially the foundation brush)

I've heard you can use art paint brushes for makeup. It's not like it's any cheaper. A good quality paint brush will cost about the same as a good quality makeup brush. Try going to your local Walgreens or CVS. They will have the proper makeup brushes you need. If you want a top of the line makeup brush, you'll have to spend a bit more. (Try going to Macy's or ULTA)

I purchase GOOD brushes, not at a drugstore, they lose brushes rapidly..........I'll spend $20. or more for a brush and clean it regularly and have it a lifetime........purchase at Macy's or Sak's....
