Should I hold out my sophomore yr?

im 15 freshmen i play football. i been playing all my life thats all i do when i got to high school i didnt really like the way they did things the work outs they do are pointless dont help you at all and all they do is get you ripped not stonge so what i wanted to do is lift run and condition for a year and get stronger and faster then play jr year and i know for a fact that im better then half the guys in my freshmen class and sophmores in front of me. im 5'11 180 pounds play wideout and safety and speical teams. do you guys think i wont get loked at when it comes to recruiting cause i took a year off

  1. Go out for the team. If you feel like you need to do additional work, do it after hours.

    I don't think you will be overlooked just because you took a year off -- as long as your results are good junior and senior year. They may, however, skip over you if they think you are an arrogant know-it-all that refuses to take direction and would rather work solo than earn a leadership position on the team.
