Question:

Should I hurt her feelings?

I have this friend, and she really isn't my friend, she just thinks she is. I've only put up with her because she's my girlfriends best friend, but now that my gf, is my ex-gf, i really dont feel like i have to deal with her. I also thinks she likes me because she was making a pathetic attempt to flirt with me.

Should I tell her how I feel and crush her feelings? Or should I just tolerate what I can, without becoming much closer to her?

  1. just tolerate it... and just be like, "are you flirting with me?"

    she'll be like "no!!"

then you can be like, "good. cause that would have been weird... eww. hahahahahahahaha....."

maybe try giving her hints that you're interested in another girl.

    but other than that...

don't get any closer to her.

  2. well... I think you should tell her, but don't say it in so many words.  If she hears that u feel that way from someone else then she'll feel WAYY worse.  so you could either play along and just distance yourself more and more until u two stop talking... or you could just be like "y'know.. I feel kinda weird talking to you now that me and "said person" broke up.. so could we keep a little distance for a while?" and then hope she forgets about you and likes someone else.

  3. maybe you should just tell her that you feel uncomfortable with the way she acts around you because you would never go out with an ex's best mate, its just wrong. maybe tell her u dont mind being friends but theres no chance in h**l of it being any more than that. once she learns this, she might not even try to talk to you anymore because she knows she wont be able to be your girlfriend.
