Should I ignore a parking ticket here in the U.S. if I'm from another country?

  1. Why not? It's not like they're going to waste resources to come after you over that. If you return though, be prepared to pay some kind of fine to get that lifted. It'll most likely be more than the original fine.


  2. No, it will just be there when you return! It is like "Ugly on Ape" you cant just shrugg it off! Is that a good enough answer lol!

  3. The rental agency will charge it to your credit card.

    Sooner or later, so don't be surprised.

  4. i think if you plan on staying in the US and becoming a legal resident or US citezen, you should pay them off. It will jeopardize your eligibility to become a legal resident or US citizen.

  7. You are better off paying it.

    The ticket will eventually be sent to the rental car company plus lots of late fees. The rental company will pay the ticket and charge the cost to your credit card, possibly with more fees added by the rental company.
