I am about a 15 handicap, shoot every once in a while a round in the 70's, strike the ball well, but really rough around the greens.

  1. Those look nice, but also look at other brands. Cobra, Callaway, Ping has great irons also. It's whatever you like basically.

  2. If i were u, i wouldn't touch the 67's with a ten ft pole.  Don't get me wrong, they're great clubs, for the best of the best.  The 25s are great for solid hits, as well as offcenter hits.  If you mishit a 67, you'll feel the sting for a week, and the ball will go 20 yds short of where it should, as compared to 5 to 7 yds shorter w/ the 25's.  Go w/ the 25's all the way.

Remember, it's all about what puts the ball in the hole in the least # of strokes.  And if one type of club gives you a better opportunity on all counts than the next (solids & mis hits), it's worth throwing in the bag.  In this case, the 67's are a much prettier club, but go w/ the 25's and you reap the benefits.

  3. Try them both. I switched to mizuno blades this year. I came from the MX-23, the predecessor to the 25. It suited me very well. I get the desired ball flight i want, and the feeling of a forged blade. I am a 9 handicap that can shoot low 70's but i range the low 80's. The club switch dropped my handicap 5 strokes, because of pure distance control. I found that the long irons in the cavity backs gave inconsistent distance, even when struck purely. Not the blades though. Consistent all the way through.

  4. ive got mx-25s and they seem like pretty awesome clubs, i can hit the 4 iron incredibly well

  5. Personally I haven't tried those clubs but the old Nike Sling Shot irons are awesome, I've had mine for about five years and I play off 1.8, I think they are pretty low in price these days.

    Have a goone one...

  6. For a 15 handicap, the MX-25 is taylored to you.  The MP-67 is made for low handicappers.  The MX-25 is more forgiving.

  7. Hey, bottom line.... blades have more control around the greens! Now, they may be a lil harder to hit (even around the greens). Blades are better, and will make you better or make you quit.

I have the Callaway X16 pro series with 6.5 rifle shafts, I will do not think that I will EVER go with any club that is not a blade!

Oh, I know nothing of these 2 clubs, I saw the other guy mention blades so if one are blades I would go with that!
