Should I invest my money in Warhammer 40k products?

Question

Should I spend my hard earned money on all of the figurines, the paints, the rules and codexes?

Would it be worth it just to buy the PC edition?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Do you live near a Games Workshop shop or Warhammer 40k club? If yes then go for the miniatures. Miniatures are hard but rewarding to paint and a well painted army is well worth the effort. Gaming is also alot of fun. However, if you are far from a gaming club and less then 3-4 people in your area play then I would recommend the Dawn of war games. You'll probably get more enjoyment then playing against the same army over and over again. And after all, if you try one and don't like you could always save up and buy the other, so the result is ultimately up to you.

My brother bought Warhammer things, couldn't find any one to play with, and forgot about them.
