Question:

Should I join show waterskiing?

So I want to join my local waterski show team, it's been a dream of mine lately. My family has done it, and I just want to do it badly. Thus, I don't know anyone on the team, so I would be alone. I'm 15. I know it sounds corny but it's true. I weigh 150 pounds, and I'm scared I'm too fat. I would like someone to help me out with my decision, and possible someone I can talk to about. And I also want to know if I will make friends? I'm super shy. I hope some of you understand what I mean. And thank you (:

  1. Hey! I'm a show director for a show ski team in southern WI and anyone who has come to our team has made new friends! It is a blast to hang out with everyone and practice and shows are so much fun. If you're a good skier it helps, but if not all teams can build a skier from the ground up. And no worries about being shy, just be yourself and friendly. But lighten up, and be talkative and ask to try/learn new things. You'll love it. Any other questions feel free to contact me.
