Should I join the American Communist Party?

I realize that its a lost cause. But I do support China. And the way I see it, America is so corrupt and decadent, that if I try to change things "inside the system", I'll either lose out to people more cruel than me, or become so evil myself that I won't stand for anything.

Better to be a man of good character fighting for a lost cause than a successful goon. Look at all of history's heroes with the exception of militrary men like Napoleon, none of them played inside the sytem even when thier cause seemed dire and hopeless.

I'm not looking for a history lesson here. I know the "Dirty little secrets" of communism, like the back of my hand. But I support the communist Part of china. What I'm looking for is philsophical feedback on what is a better life spent. Fighting inside the system hoping to work your way up and make a difference or fighting outside the system for a "pure and noble" cause with no chance of victory?

The CPUSA is the ONLY party that supports the government in China.

  1. No matter which route you decide to take, don't compromise you beliefs or your integrity.  Once that's gone, no amount of money can buy it back.

  2. Are you kidding? Look at how the average guy in China lives compared to here. They work in sweatshops, they have no regard for the enviroment, and they restrict basic human rights such as freedom of speech to their people. I dont see what you find appealing about communism.

  3. Why not just move to China and apply for citizenship? Why is it necessary for this country to be more like the Chinese just because you want to? If you know the dirty little secrets of communism like the back of your hand as you say why are you so enamoured with it? Do you think you would be a free communist? My bumper sticker reads "I'd rather be killing commies". We should rid the gene pool of communists. They are nothing more than a dreaded disease that should be wiped out. There is NOTHING good about communism.

  4. If you want to, sure. Don't expect my support.

  5. It's a free country, I admire your courage.

On another note,  fighting outside the system in my opinion does'nt solve anything. The most you could do, if you decide to take this route, is cause awarness. But if you work inside the system you can bring change, and affect so many lives.

BE AWARE,  the government will phone tap you.

  6. I give you two examples, you choose the better outcome:

    1. Two thousand years ago, two men were born. One was Jesus, the Son of God; the other his cousin, John the Baptist. John was vocal and adamant about truth and integrity at any cost; he was denouncing the sitting Roman governor Herod for taking his brothers wife - this was outside his palace - and he was beheaded for it. John stressed the importance of repentance in everyday life. Jesus had done much of the same works, only he had focused his works toward the lost and the sick.  After three years of chiding the ruling religious leaders for their hypocrisy, these leaders conspired against Jesus to have Him crucified. This event alone had such a dramatic effect on the society that it is said that Jesus has split time in half. These changes influenced their society so much so that we are still influenced by their ideas.

    2. Lenin and Stalin were so indignant at the current regime that they worked tirelessly to overthrow Czar Nicholas. Although they were successful, the people of Russia soon grew wary of their iron-fisted rule. The success of the Bolshevik's worked against them, that in seventy years their Utopia was crumbling.

Personally, I believe the works of Christ have a far better effect on our society.

  7. If your that desperate!!!  Go ahead!!!  The Chinese govt. on the other hand...not so much.

  8. Say hi to my stepmother when you get in.    She'll be the one burning the flags.

  9. Wouldn't it be better to just move to China?

That way you would not have to be subjected to the horror that is AmeriKa. And we Americans that appreciate living here won't have to put up with you. It's a win win solution.

  10. no

  11. Either way you still are trying to do a good deed so both are a good way to spend your life. So I suggest inside the system because then you actually can make a difference for the better.

Also, how can you call communism a "good and noble" cause? It may look good on paper but it NEVER works.

  12. why not? most lawyers are communist aren't they

Heck, volunteer for Bill / Hillary Inc. for 2008 campaign and they may give you an ambassadorship to China if they win.

    Wouldn't that be cool?

  13. you are free to do what you want

but I do not feel it is in the best interest of the nation for anyone to join the communist party

please feel free to research how the communist people have been forced to live under those regimes I think you will change your mind

  14. http://www.chinadaily.com.cn

    Here's your morning paper.

Life is good there. Some say we may all find out

after this next election. Right now I pray we can

find the Republicans & Democrats underneath the

propaganda . Divide and conquer, we got that already.

Seems more than you mention, US administrations have

    supported China already. What next?

  15. Why not... if you believe in Communism and being a minority in this capitalist country, it would probably be nice to be around ppl who share your same viewpoint.
