Yea it is better when you read the material, I thought I didn't have to read it and now I have a paper to turn in tomorrow with no clue of what to write. So im doing all my reading right now.  My advise is....STUDY! Therefore it will reflect on your grade.

Yes, I would. Sociology was one of my favorite classes in College. It is so much less boring than other Subjects, and you'll be glad to get ahead of yourself- Good Idea!
