Should I just forget about him and move on?

I’m dating this really nice guy but the problem is he never calls me and I am the one who is always calling him. When I do call him we talk for a long time, he just never initiates it (onetime I didn’t call him and we didn’t talk for 2 weeks…till I finally called him). I really like him and a common friend told me he liked me too, but I refuse to throw myself at him. Should I consider him not calling as a sign that he’s disinterested and just forget about him?

No. A BIG NO. He likes you and you likes him. Its just a matter of time only. Sometimes people take more time than normal. May be due to his past he is afraid to start or take initiatives. Or may be at present he is giving more attention to his career or job. There may be some reason of his such behaviour. But if you really likes him talk about this problem. And let him know that you feel happy if he calls you. But don't think to leave him just because he don't call you.

I always go by the saying that everyone has the same 24 hours in a day and what they chose to do it with it is up to them. He is obviously not ready for a relationship and does not have time to commit to you so I would move on. He may be working 80 hours a week but he still has time to give you a call if he wants to. They key words there are if he wants to. He is not choosing to make time to talk to you so how much can he really like you. I know it may be hard to hear but when someone truly likes someone they will make an honest effort to talk to the person and see how they are doing. Do not wait for someone who may not be ready for a relationship. Find someone who is willing to put forth as much effort as you are.

dont call him until he calls you, i think he's playing hard to get with you. or just consider you as a normal friend, he'll only call you when he needs you.

so dont call him anymore, hold it, and try to move on, but at the same time, wait for him to take initiative.
