Should I just go for it or not?

i am currently 1 of 4 girls in the running to be the other captain on my cheerleading team, but im not sure if i want to do it or not. its a lot of responsibility, extra time, etc. that im not sure that i want. i guess im just not sure if the positives outweight the negatives in this situation.
