Should I just let this girl be a friend or pursue her for something more?

I went out with that girl on Friday and things went surprisingly well.

***this wasn't really a date per-se. Just "hanging out" though I do sense mutual attraction.***

Now if I was to either keep this one as a friend or pursue her for a relationship she'd basically be my only friend other than cousins that are half my age. I don't feel quite right about a relationship for some reason because of this. I know there's something "wrong" upstairs and I'd hate to subject someone to whatever s***w is loose or have her bail on me when she figures out she's my only real pal. I figure that if she's already branded as a "friend" then the fact that I have no others won't be so bad... but then again, I like her.
