Question:

Should I just mind my own Business?

I sometimes tell my brother to pick up after himself. Hes the same age as me and he always leaves things on the table counter or wherever. The majority of time if I don't say anything no one else will and I have to end up picking it up. It seems like lately I've been the only one cleaning in my family and its like I'm asking him just to throw something away or wash off the food he got on the table. While I'm the one doing to dishes and clearing and organizing everything. I ask just a simple little thing and I just said it nicely, but blew it way out of porportion and told me to mind my own bussiness. I feel like it is my business since I'm the one that usually ends up cleaning it up. I'm sorry if this sounded like a rant I just want to know what you guys think. Should I just shut up and clean it up anyways?

  1. No he should be cleaning up after himself.

  2. he needs to be responsible for hbis own messes and your parents shouyld give a dam about it!

  3. your brother should clean up after himself no matter what. If he doesn't, leave the area he's in messy and clean up elsewhere. Let him deal with the mess at the dinner table etc. (I mean, don't remove his plate or clean up any of the mess he makes and it will be there the next time he eats). Your not his maid, so leave his messes alone.

  4. h**l i would just leave it there somebody will get sick of looking at the mess

  5. Sounds like he might be a bit of a slob. Don't pick up after him, learn to walk over it, around it or whatever. He will continue to be a slob as long as you let him. By the way fighting over it leads nowhere but to a lot of headaches.

  6. you shouldn't have to deal with that. they should help you. one little isn't going to kill them you are being too nice about this. speak up

  7. I am going through the same exact thing and it is really frustrating. I always yell at my sister to do the same thing, and she tells me to mine my business. I have taken to taking what ever she is leaving around and not cleaning up to throw it in her room so the mess can be in there. She has cleaned her room so thats good, so i guess its working
