Question:

Should I just take my vactaion in England?

I'd like to see the county. All I'd have to do is learn English (unless I can get a translator from American to English). From what I understand, it rains a lot over there. It always rains when I go on vacation (like nearly everyday), so it shouldn't dampen any plans.

  1. I am sure American is like English, all though we speak English someone from the south of england will sound different to someone from the north. We have accents, don't worry i can never understand those in the north of my country.  If I were doing a tour of england I would do it at my own pace, we have a good transport system.  For train times and info go to www.nationalrail.com there is also a coach service www.nationalexpress.com Each county in England has a lot to see, for example if you do a search say for Devon England it will bring up some suggestions for websites.  Or if you go www.devon.gov.uk, www.somerset.gov.uk, etc then that should give you some ideas.  Happy Travelling

  2. I sense a bit of sarcasm ... just a bit. :P

On that note, yeah, why not? Doesn't sound like you'd have anything to lose.

  3. dont worry about the language barrier; if an english person wants to be understood by a foreigner they speak english, but very loudly and very slowly, so that should be perfect!

by the way, you wont get to see the whole country in just one holiday!

  4. American translator?

it might be me being stupid i though they both speak English

it doesnt rain too too much i mean at this time of the year it's getting nicer, England is different to America but its nice too see the small and big differences and its a great experience =]
