Should I kill baby flies in my yard? They are tiny. there are thousands concealed on a patch of high grass.?

I don't want to upset the ecosystem, but what I don't want is a swarm of flies living right out my door. Once they leave the nesting area, will they disperse??

they are intact now. The adult caring for them is about a half centimeter, and the multitudinous lot are like a sixteenth of an inch each.

What about all the other bugs, insects, bacteria and other microbes living in your yard?  No, just leave them alone, they'll be gone soon.

You wanna worry about something.  Then why not the neighborhood dogs?

Order chickens. chickens love maggots.

there is no such thing as a baby fly. when they make it past the maggot stage they are adults and only live a few days. and the adults do not care for them at all after they lay their eggs so it must be some other insect that you have. go to a farm and garden center and get some kind of bait or poison.

Upset the ecosystem? Nothing about a yard is natural. You've already introduced countless alien species, from your grass, to your trees and perennials, to your annuals, to yourself. Let's not forget the sprinklers, that big house in the middle, the lawnmower, the dog (?). In the end, it's your yard, designed by you as you saw fit. If you don't want flies in it, then get rid of them. It shouldn't be any different than pulling up weeds--I doubt you stop to think before doing that.

i'd kill them, flies are so nasty! if you let them into your house, you'll never get rid of them and an adult may fly in and lay more eggs and you don't want that, .....maggots!

Believe me! You will not upset the eco-system by killing flies! There are plenty to go around! Some of the flies will disperse but female flies began to lay eggs very quickly, within a couple of weeks of birth. If you have garbage cans or anything like that around your home, you will have maggots in no time! By all means KILL THEM!
