Should I laugh or feel sad for North America?

Obviously this question is wasted on some of you muppets. I wonder what some people who know about football think.

I really don't get where your question is going. I have never seen any North American soccer(football in most other countries) players in casual, professional, or team based sport wearing head pads. You might have knee pads to protect against knee injuries in the organized leagues but that is about it.

Also you are a little insulting about the colonies, remember all three countries in North America won independence from Europe.

I don't get why Canada still honors the Royal Crown though.

yea dude its getting redicullous isnt it. i live in the states and i laugh mine off too. thats y i quit playing sports 4 school. cause u get in trouble if u even just accidentally smack someone.

All i play now is no pads no nothin football(both types) with friends and family.

the pads and stuff take the fun outta it and makes u look like a puss.

are you serious i am from the us and a small town  i have heard and known parents who over protected their children with the protective padding mullarky but an entire team what do they want the other team to think they are all retarded come on now when i was a little kid we went out into the feild without shoes on but we learned to look where we were walking after the cactus poked our feet

I'm from Alabama, USA... I really want to go to England some time b/c I don't really like America all that much. I think it's funny that you call it the "colonies" over here lol. But annyywayyy I used to play soccer but I wasn't good enough for varsity so I quit in high school but I have never heard of anyone wearing head protection for it... that's extremely weird. I guess what I'm trying to say is that not that not everyone in North America is that crazy. And to answer your original question, I would laugh lol.

OK just because you heard one story about some chicks daughter wearing padding for soccer(football) doesn't mean everyone does it! The only sport we really wear padding in is football(American football) and that's because you have a 300 pound linebacker coming to tackle you, now does this still seem like stupidity

That is stupid. Whether you laugh or feel sad is up to you and will only affect you and no one else. It always better to smile and be happy. It's the season to be jolly, so who would want to be sad?

One thing I would add my friend is that stupidity is to be found everywhere. We don't have to look too hard nor too far. I'm not American myself however I would be more careful before labeling an entire continent.
