  1. Yes, of course! Driving is a great experience in regards to fun but also freedom and independence. I don't know your age but being able to drive without your parents and pick up your friends is a great feeling. Not to mention, it is easier to get to school/college and work. You will love it, trust me. Even if you don't drive on a regular basis, in case of emergency or if asked to, you should learn, just so you know. Do it!

  2. It might not be a bad idea for you to learn how to drive.  If you life in a large metropolitan area with good public transportation, it wouldn't be a necessity.  Knowing how to drive can be useful if you travel or gain employment that might require travel.  You should understand that knowing how to drive, and actually acquiring enough experience to be a safe driver are two different situations.  If you will be able to gain experience driving with an experienced driver, such as a parent or older sibling, it is probably worthwhile in the long run to know how to safely operate a motor vehicle.

  3. I'd like to consider driving one of those skills that an experienced person knows, but prefers not to use. (Like being able to spit accurately, or give oneself an injection.)

  4. Yes difinately.

It opens up more choices for you.

You dont have to drive when you pass your test but its nice to have the choice.

  5. Yes, if for nothing else, your independence!
