Should I learn to play guitar?

Question

I love music! I've been singing and playing piano for years! I want to add guitar to my musical abilities, but that's a big commitment. Shoud I go for it? What are the pros and cons of playing guitar? I would appreciate any advice you could give me on the subject! Thanks!

it was only last year November that i first picked up a guitar.. and no jokes, without a teacher, just 1 book and access to the internet it was only a few months before i was strumming my favorite song, and already now i give guitar lessons.. the thing about guitar is that there is nearly always a guitar around and it is such a way to entertain people (especially if you have a good singing voice) with such a small instrument.. i really recommend it, and the fact that you can play piano gives a huge advantage music-wise.. you obviously understand it requires dedication so i wont tell you how not to give up and that whole shlep.. just go for it.. you wont regret it

they have guitar lessons on comcast demand cable--you may have to hunt awhile to find it but it's there
