I have a new neighbor our kids play(or stay over). And, we became sort of friends(we talk and visit on another). However,we were talking about somethings and she said that if she saw a group of blacks and hispanics together ,they would all look alike to her. Also, she mentioned that she would not feel comfortable, if she saw a group of black or hispanics walking towards her on the street.I thought this seemed racist! Do you think she is a racist or just ignorant? Should I continue to be nice to her(other then that she is very nice).I am black, by the way.I didn't say anything at the time( I think I was in shock).I would have never thought ,she would be so bold.WTF!
