Question:

Should I let my kitten go on the local news or would she get scared?

I bought a Persian kitten not too long ago, she is about 12 weeks old. The vet I take my cats to fell in love with her and wants to put her on a segment they do for the local news, where people call in and ask questions about that specific breed of animal (Persians in this case).

I will have to leave her with the vet for about 5 hours, and I'm afraid she will get scared or stressed out, or around other sick animals etc. but I don't want to be rude to the vet either (I've been going there for a while).

Will the kitten be OK? Or should I say no? What would you do? Thanks for your help.

  1. she should be fine especially in a vets hands they will take good care of her

  2. she'll be fine.  The vet will keep her away from sick animals in his clinic ( if thats where you are droping her off at.)  and she will be kept safely contained in a carrier up until a short time before she is on tv.  Let her go. Set the TEVO to record and have a memory forever of her as a tv star

  3. i think you shold do it the vet would not let something bad happen to you cat i have two cat and i have had them for five years.

  4. Charge $100 per hour for the use of your kitten.  Easy $500.

  5. Is your kitten generally easily stressed out? Of my cats only one could easily do something like that because she genuinely adores all people and isn't bothered by new places too much but the other three would be wide eyed and panicky so that would affect my decision. If she is just young it might be a good way to get her accustomed to being in such unusual circumstances making her a more calm, cool and collected kitty when she's older.

  6. She'll be OK especially with the vet.

  7. well, if u trust the vet then yah. just tell the vet to be very easy with ur cat and tell him what not to do and try to squeeze ur self in so u can stay with ur cat.
