Should I level up an undead frost mage or an undead rogue? What would level faster, what is more fun, and what will give me more respect?

Frost mage is the way to go they are awesome!

  2. Frost mage has the definite advantage in leveling because it's the best class in the game for much-beloved AOE farming. Grab yourself a reliable healer, gather up a bunch of mobs and own em all at once. As for respect, mages are the most coveted cc/dps class in the game as polymorph is wayyy more reliable than sap. As a rogue, you can solo without difficulty, and stealthing past mobs to get quest objectives more quickly than the other classes is a plus. Of course this is for PvE. If you want respect on the battlegrounds, then a rogue would be more suitable for you, as they have the upper hand in terms of PvP. Sap, blind, stunlock, kicks, shadowstep, vanish, high burst damage and cloak of shadows would all be in your arsenal, basically making you the most annoying thorn in anyone's bg'ing backside (next to a druid's Cyclone/root/cheeta-form-run-away of course)

In terms of gear, I think rogues usually get the cooler looking stuff, but maybe it's the whole man-in-a-dress mage that i find less than cool. However the rogue animations and combos are rather boring. Mages get the flare of explosions and raining ice and all that good stuff.

It all comes down to your playing style, really. If you want to group with your friends and kick some NPC booty, I say go frost mage. However, if you want to be a little more independent and make the alliance fear your PvP wrath, go with the rogue. (Will of the Forsaken is such a convenient racial for pvp to boot)

    Hope I could help!
