Should I list fellowships that I was offered but declined by not going to a particular graduate program on my C.V. or is that a bit tacky?

  1. No, nor nothing else you declined,(e.g. positions)  (college prof)

  2. If your CV crossed my desk and you had your declined fellowships, I would think you were bragging and you would get the "Thanks for your interest but we have filled the position" post card.

    Just my opinion.  YMMV.

  3. A CV is a story about what you have done to date.  Just as you wouldn't list jobs you were offered but turned down, you don't list fellowships you declined.  Furthermore, if there are several of them, it would make it look like you applied for things and then didn't take them, which seems a bit flaky.
