Should I mail a sympathy card to a co-worker I used to work with?

This was about ten years ago. I moved to get a better job and life. I had saw her husband's obituary in the town's (I used to live there) newspaper website.

  3. Any time you feel an instinct to do good you should. What would it hurt. It's very thoughtful of you especially when someone is feeling so alone and sad.
