Should I major in Physics or Engineering? Why?

I think the design part of engineering is kinda lame. But is it worth it to get a Physics Bachelor? I'm not as innovative as I am analytical.

I'll give you 2 reasons why you should take Engineering:

1. You'll need a PhD in Physics to have the same earning potential as an Engineering bachelor.

2. There is such a dearth of graduating engineering majors and entering engineering majors, that a lot of industry experts are getting severaly worried about the future of the nation (United States).  Your job will be secure for years-to-come with an Engineering degree.
