I've got the 3rd pick in the draft this year in a keeper league. The 5th pick wants to trade me his keeper, Reggie Wayne, for my 1st round pick. My keeper is P. Manning... so this seems like a great combo... but typically I would want to grab a running back in the first round. Before the offer I was hoping to get S. Jackson or Gore. (I know pick #2 is going for Romo) My first immediate thought was, "yes!" But know I'm wondering what I should do? By the time I get to my second pick, all the top RBs will be gone. What do you all think?

The keepers that are off the table for me to draft are: Manning, Palmer, Brady, Westbrook, Addai, Moss, Tomlinson, Peterson, R. Wayne, Marion Barber

  1. yes

  2. Dont dop it take a solid RB. Reggie Wayne is not worth the number three pick

  3. I think your best bet in this case would be to hang onto your pick and take Jackson. I like Wayne a lot, but that's probably a little too high for him.

    Good luck.

  4. absolutely dont do it.

  5. I like Gore over Wayne or Jackson.R.Grant,or Jamal Lewis might be there for your 2nd pick depending on the size of your league. They would be adequate, but if it were me,I'd pass on Wayne.

There are more top line WRs then RBs that will not split time with back ups...That is a big KEY!Will the RBs you pick later split signiffacant time with their back ups? Also remember Selvin Youngs'

main threat for playing time (R.Torrain) broke his elbow. Also you should search for a solid backup QB with Manning dinged up.(Which

is also a contributing factor of why I would pass on the R.Wayne trade.)~~~G{}{}d Luck!
