Should I make this trade?*?

Question

Should I trade Laurence Maroney in return for Jason Witten? Why or why not?

My Current Roster:

Cutler/Bulger

Westbrook, T. Jones, Maroney, Forte, Chester Taylor, & C. Perry

Wayne/Welker/B. Marshall/Dwayne Bowe

T. Scheffler :-(

It's a 12 team, PPR league that starts 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, & 1 Flex.

I see Witten normally go around round 5, and Maroney goes anywhere between rounds 3 and 5

You've got decent RB's already, so you could probably afford to lose him for a stud TE like Witten

Also, Scheffler isn't too bad, he'll have a decent year

The trade seems fair, and I probably would go for that trade and bring in Witten - there's talk about him being used more as a 3rd receiver this year, and he's the top TE in the league

I'd go for it

Make the trade. You've got enough depth at RB where getting rid of Maroney won't hurt you, plus you'll get a huge upgrade at TE.

most definitely... maroney is one of the most overrated running backs in the nfl. im from the new england area, so i see every one of his game, and while he occasionally has a good game, i dont see very much potential. witten on the otherhand is the top te in the nfl and seeing that te is your real weak position it would make since, bcuz your strong and deep everywhere else
