  1. I`m from N.C We go on vacations to Piegon Forge a lot. Very nice people.I also have friends from Florida, Their biggest gripe is not that we are "backward", but are pretty family orientated. Go with the family -you`ll fit right in.It`s a beautful state.Don`t worry Tennesee is pretty safe-not that many tornados.Too many mountains. Are you sure of that? Good Luck Thanks for answering my question.

  2. I know it would be hard to move away from your Nana but change is a good thing. I just moved in June and I do miss my old house it feel as if I have a new perspective on so much. Ive made some new friend, have new places to go and feel fresh and new.I'm having fun redecorating, it can be done for a little money-think of repainting your new bedroom, having new friends, being with your Dad, it could be really great and you can always vacation in FL!! Best of luck sweetie

  3. Its really your choice, u got to think of wats more important for u and ur family, if u wanna spend more time wit ur cuzins and ur dad then u know where u wanna go, but if ur gonna miss ur nana and ur friends too much den stay but 2 tell u da truth, u really dont wanna move when ur in 9th grade bcuz ur goin 2 start high skool and ur not gonna know a lot of ppl soo its gonna b hard 2 adapt 2 everythin but i know ur in a tough situation and i wish u best of luck

  4. Hun i moved a lot as a kid and i hated it, until i realized that i got to see a lot more than most kids. You can get used to anywhere, it just takes some time and you have to work at it! My husband is in the Air Force and they stationed him in Germany and i am moving out there in a month, but family is what is important! Don't wait until 9th that will just make it harder.. i say go for it!

Tell your mom thank you for serving our country!

  5. life is about change and nothing stays the same and you can call and email friends and nana and visit move with your mom who know you might like better than where you are good luck

  6. You asked for an answer and JEFF was right.. if she goes active duty her chances of getting called up are higher! As for her choosing her PCS it will be for that one time only and understand that after that you guys can get stationed anywhere the Army NEEDS you!

I am an Army brat and I loved it I am well-travelled and enjoyed a lot of things most people will never see in their life time!

  7. If your mom is going full time and and the Army is letting her pick her own PCS, there is a chance that she may be getting called up. It is important to her that you make this decision, because she wants to let you know that you do have some say. I know this sounds cruel, but worrying about friends should be the last thing on your mind right now. After all, your mom could be going to war. As far as living in Tennessee, I wouldn't worry about living there, It's not the 1800's anymore. There is plenty of city life there. However, if you did end up living in the country, it would make you appreciate the outdoors a little more. Hope this helps, Jeff

  8. yeah do it!! you don't get many chances to start over like that if I was you I would probably do it especially if I had family over there too it would be a no brainer

  9. Whoa! That's so weird! I'm gonna go into 7th grade soon (When summer ends) and I'm moving to France in like...2 weeks or so!

At first I was devistated from the thought of leaving my friends and going to a new school, let alone learning a whole new language! I told my mom that I didn't want to go, and that I don't even know french! My mom said that we'll be close to family and I'll learn a whole new language.

But, when you think about it, it doesn't seem half bad.

Think about it; you'll meet more friends and I'm sure you'll still stay in touch with your old ones, and you get to pick any state you want to go to!

And-Do not wait till 9th grade! The older you get the harder it is to adjust to a new place! Sort of like a cat, they HATE IT when they move.

So--This might be a good expirience!

    Hope I helped~!
