Should I move my guppies?

Okay, I have a pair of guppies, and I am wondering if I should move them to my other ten gallon tank. I have some danios and they are totally harrassing them. My female guppy is usually very active, but now she just stays at the bottom and wont eat. My male hides in a corner on the bottom of the tank. Should I move them to my other 10 gallon tank with 3 goldfish and 1 female betta. Don't worry about the temperature of the tank. Its like 70s. It is high for goldfish, but it is room temperature. Thanks

  1. I'd say move them to a less aggressive take but gold fish can be mean too. two guppies would do fine in a 3 or 5 gallon tank even and watch for babies as they are mighty tempting to other fish

  2. I dpo think you should move them but also be aware of goldfish and the betta as they can be vicious also. And its also posible that your guppy is at the bottom on the tank and not eating because of an infection (swimbladder perhaps). Hope this helps :) x

  3. Your Betta will go after those guppies like a pit bull after a bone. He will harass them much worse than the Danios.

Get a Large flower vase or other large water vessel and put the guppies in it, or the Betta in it. In the future, when buying fish, try not to mix the egg bearing fish with live bearing fish to avoid the conflict you are seeing. Some are compatible, most aren't.
