Question:

Should I move out of state?

My fiance is living out in California and I'm in Illinois. He has his own place and has asked me to move in with him. We plan on getting married once he is out of the Navy in 2 years. However, my parents had told me that they do not approve of living with your significant other prior to marriage. I don't have anything going on for me out here, and I'm old enough to make my own decisions, even if they are not what my parents want for me. My parents adore my boyfriend, but I'm afraid that if I move in with him across the country, they will disown me. I am completley independent, and I even pay room and board to my parents. The only reason why I still live with my parents is because I have not found a place of my own out here. Should I do what I think is best for me, or should I listen to my parents?

  1. do what your heart wants to do. that's all i have to say.

  2. well if you are marring the guy you shouldent worry about what your parents say i say go for it!=)

  3. Don't listen to what your parents approve on. Thin about what you approve on. If you want to move in with your fiance then do so. Listen to your heart. It's about you in this situation.

  4. I think you should do as your parents say, it is clear to me that you are not old enough to make your own decisions. If you were mature enough to make this type of decision, you would not be asking people you don't know what you should do!
