Should I move to London?

Question

I'm in Colorado now and have been asked by my company to move there to set up our UK office. What are your thoughts?

I love London, have always loved it. The recent reports of violent crime leaves me quite worried though. I would get a place to live in a fairly safe neighborhood, Finchley maybe and set up office either nearby or somewhere near Baker street to be near touristy things to do after work in Summer and close enough to shops....

my thoughts ... do you know anything about the UK?, our way of life and way of business are subtly different from the US and setting up a business here could be a challenge ... what sort of salary are they offering?, would need to be generous if you're not to struggle ... are they offering to supply accommodation or do you have to find your own ... how adaptable are you

you might find it a huge undertaking but if you're resourceful, well paid and open minded you could find it very rewarding
