Should I move to Los Angeles or New York is I want to pusue a modeling career?

I live in New Orleans and I've been told that this isn't the best place to be in to have a career in modeling, what should I do?

Okay don't listen to them. L.A. is like the center of acting so if your looking into an acting career go to L.A., but if your looking onto a modeling career go to N.Y., either one you won't just be noticed by walking down the sidewalk, so try this website and read all about it http://www.imta.com/

go to newyork if you go to la its to much to compete with out there

you dont neeed to move you just need to get involved in pageants etc. moving to los angeles and new york wont help you anymoer than living in new orleans in

It's true, but New Orleans is a big enough city that you should be able to find enough work out there. If you do and you're successful, and if your agent recommends it, then worry about moving to LA or NY.
