  1. if you want to go for it

me i left there 30 years ago for QLD

I just go back every 7 years to remind myself why i left

  2. YES! Definitely it is the best state recommended area is Mornington Peninsula

  3. It depends what you're after.

Personally, I'm a bit more slanted towards the regional cities near but not actually in Melbourne - such as Bendigo, Ballarat.

I think they're a safer, more pleasant alternate to Melbourne - and a big plus is they are much more affordable to live in (with reasonable rental rates and housing prices). Plus, public transport (trains from both) is cheap and accessible - so you can get easy city access. In fact, a lot of people live in either and get the inter-city train to work in Melbourne.

I'm biased because I do live in the country and much prefer it (and am moving to Bendigo myself in 6 months)...but I think either of those are a good choice...

However, Melbourne is a nice city...

  4. Yes go quick before it's empty as all the Melbournians are moving up here to god's country - Queensland

  5. Yes, change is good. See the world while you can.

  6. yeah if your hot!! :)

seriously if you have support with friends or family why not. but to move to a new country not knowing anyone or having any family would be a tough thing to do. try a long working holiday first and see if you like it.

I assume your not in Australia as you put that in your question. on the other hand if you already live here yeah go for it. you'll never know if you don't go.

  7. Yes, its a great place. The second most liveable city in the world. Lots going on here - Arts, Culture, Theatre, Tennis,Cricket, Grand Prix to name a few.The city is easy to walk around, the cafes and restaurants are excellent.Go for it, I did and Love It

  8. yes.

    unless your in sydney.

  9. That depends where you are now and what you want to do.

    Melbourne's such a beautiful city.

If you like cafe, arts or sport, Melbourne is also the best. Beware that most people I know prefer Sydney because it's warmer there.
