Should I move to QLD?

I'm currently living in Sydney & have been offered a job in QLD.

Should I take it? I have lived in Sydney all my life & have only been to Surfers Paradise, Noosa & surrounds. The job is in Brisbane, what is it like compared to QLD?

  1. I've never worked in Brisbane but I guess we are facing with the same decision (I've just got an offer for a job in Syd and am preparing to move over from Melbourne next month).

You know what? A change will bring to you many challenges. These challenges will force you to learn a lot more about yourself. If you end up missing Sydney, you can always move back. And you will prob find your next job much easier since employers/recruiters will will notice you've moved to advance your career... If this makes sense.

I guess that's why I'm moving... Living costs will be much higher in Syd but I'm thinking I can always move back after 2-3 years - after I've gotten more life/career experience and gained greater independence. I will miss my family very very dearly.. but it will do my soul good - meeting new people etc.

Remember, what makes life interesting are the constant challenges that you face each day: the people you meet, the decision you make, and the different things you find yourself pondering about. It will also make you appreciate what you already have so you will know how to truly treasure it in the future.

    =)

Many regards~ I'm sure you will make the right decision... don't stress. If it means to be, it will happen!

  2. Move and have fun, if accommodation isnt too much I would go and try my wings. Australia is a big place with plenty of opportunities. Queensland is all beach and surf if you love that stuff you will really enjoy it.

I have been to Brisbane  and really enjoyed with loads to do and see.
