Should I move to this school with my friend?

OK, so I'm looking for a new school. My parents and I have narrowed the schools down to 2 choices. I like one school better(let's call it A), but the other one (B) is OK with me to. Though I'm a bit concerned about going to school A, as my best friend (Let's call him Bob) goes there. I'm the academic guy with really good grades, while he is sort of an under-achiever, but really loves his extra-curricular activities. We've been friends since I got out of the hospital at birth (don't ask, it's a weird story) and still are very close. But could he be jealous of me, thus ruining our relationship? I don't know... But FYI I'm going to an all-boys school and I'll be in Year 8, but this is all in 2009.

  1. If Bob is better at extra curricular then he has no reason to be jealous because even though you are better at the book stuff he has something he is better at. Unless of course you make him feel as though he is stupid... that's a real killer. Will you still get to hang out, out of school? If so then look at it that way, it could be better for your friendship and that way you won't have to worry about the competitiveness. If it was me I would probably stick with my mate just because I wouldn't want to drift apart but if you are really serious about your work  and it is important to your future then maybe you should stick with that. I say you talk to BOB! Its the best thing you could do. :-)

  2. Do whatever is good for you and your friend should get over the fact you don't want to go to the same school as long as you guys stay friends. good luck!=)

  3. i'll say try to experience something new.go to school that he dint go. and there's a jeolous people everywhere.

but by going to school with the student same level as you , make you a better student/person ans you have to compete with them.

you still can be friend with him , no matter what

  4. you should go to the school that is best for you in the way of studies.

I know that it is cool to have a buddy in school, but you can still visit/ do stuff with him when you are not in school. Also if you do end up going to that school there is still no guarantee that you will take the same classes together.

  5. Select your choice and be happy.
