Question:

Should I offer Anthony Gonzalez and Derek Anderson for Ben Roethlisburger?

Would this be a smart trade to offer? I would be getting Big Ben. I think Anderson could potentially have a good year, but I also think he is a potential risk for a let-down this season. Roethlisburger is much more proven in this league, and I think now might be the best time time to trade Anderson in case he does have a letdown. Would I be giving up too much by including Anthony Gonzalez? I have 3 solid starting WR's in Torry Holt, Plaxico Burress, and Roddy White, but if I trade Gonzalez the only WR's on my bench will be Ted Ginn and DeSean Jackson, both of whom are obviously potentially sleepers but also question marks. Anyway, any and all advice would be great. I play in a 10 team head-to-head league. Thanks!

  1. both QB's had better than ave years in 2007, and both face a much more difficult schedule in 2008. ben is only slightly safer, but his weaker o-line makes him more of a risk for injury. Fantasy wise they are equal. certainly not worth a potential P. Manning #2 WR( still dont know about Harrison)

  2. big ben is just as likely to be a let down as D.A. and no way and gonzalez because i see him havibg a great year

  3. I like your thinking,but 1st I'd offer DA+R.White for D.Brees.

It may be a reach, but I think Roddys' numbers will dwindle under new

    run oriented o'coordinator M.Malarky.Also I think A.Gonzalezs'

numbers will explode kinda like Wes Welkers' did last year.

Welker and A.Gonzalez are alot alike. They both are slot recievers with

great Q.B.s,and have elite recievers ahead of them that defences have to pay ALOT of attention to....But if you can't get Brees I'd go with your original thought.~~G{}{}d Luck!
