The rules for my leauge are the same as the default and my current QB's and RB's are:

QB: Tom Brady and David Garrard.

RB: Larry Johnson, Brandon Jacobs, Justin Fargas, and Thomas Jones.

And I offered the following trade: Tom Brady and Justin Fargas for Clinton Portis and Tony Romo.

Do you feel this would be a good trade for me if the other team accepts?

  1. This is definitely a good trade for you. Romo is not far behind Brady in FF value while Portis is a big upgrade over Fargas who may start strong but will lose more carries to McFadden as the season progresses.

I doubt the other team will accept this trade but it doesnt hurt to try. Good luck!

  2. id take it right away. Romo is gonna have a good year- so is Brady but Brady wont have an 07 year Portis will slay Fargas #s

  3. All trades should benefit both parties. It depends on how each jock's needs are met.

  4. I can't see giving up Brady.

Maybe he won't throw for 50 TDs this year, maybe only 40.

    How bad would that be?

Take a look at the Pats schedule, it is the easiest in the league, they only play 4 teams that had winning seasons last year, and of course are in the worst division in football.

Romo will have a good year as well, but if he is like the last 2 years, he will suck in the last 3 or 4 games.

    Right at fantasy playoff time.

Fargas is fighting for his life, so Portis would be an upgrade, no doubt.

    But ask yourself this.

Will the TDs that Portis and Romo account for equal or better the amount of TDs Brady gets this season?

Last season Brady had 50 TD passes and 2 rushing.

    Portis had 11 TDs.

    Romo had 36 TDs.

    You make the call.
