My boyfriend has a 15 month old daughter, I have a 10 month old son. Right now he is fighting for custody and Its looking like he is going to get it but he works 6 days a week and his lawyer says he needs to have childcare in place. Should I offer to watch his daughter? I stay home with my son all day anyways.

  1. I don't think that's a good idea at all.  You are just a girlfriend and small kids get attached very easily to adults.  Unless you know for a fact you 2 have a future together, it's best not be involved with his child at all.

  2. Yes, that would be a great idea!

  3. I have to say yeah, I'd do it, but this is not your stepchild (yet) and you deserve to be paid...That would change once you and he are married.

  4. Seems like that would help the situation, especially if he is the one supporting you & your son.

  5. I would at least offer. As long as you are comfortable watching her.

  6. If you don't mind then yes it would be helping him out as then he would have proof of daycare ready for her if he should get custody.

  7. Yeah why not. If it will help him get his daughter go for it. Her mom might have something to say but you are putting it out there. Unless you aren't ready yo take the relationship to that point there is no reason you can't offer.
