Should I only do cardio for the first few weeks to lose the fat, then start working on toning muscle? ?

If so, how long? Any ideas on a good workout plan for someone just starting out again....

  1. cardio every day for 40 minutes

    Muscle toning every other day


  2. cardio is always good for you.  Try doing HITT it worked great for me.  There is no need to do more than 25 min.  It beats running for 40 min by far.

    *WIth HITT you will not over work your self like you might by doing full run or jog for 20-40 min like most people.

    * With HITT you should stay in you target hart range.

    *you will burn more calories from fat while preserving muscle

  3. Well when i started working out, i didn't do cardio at all because i didn't realize how important it was. its not THAT important in the beginning of a workout routine because if you have a hard workout plan, it will cause your heart to beat faster and be a cardio workout in itself.
