I am in the process of updating my place. I have already asked Sears to custom-make over my kitchen but I was wondering if it is better to paint the walls before the kitchen is done or to wait until afterwards?

  1. I say wait until after, because you don't know if say you paint the walls and the installers scrape the walls with a box or tool and chip your paint. Always remember when remodeling painting is usually your last step. Hope that helps!

  2. I would paint the the kitchen first, save some paint for any touch-ups after the work is done.

  3. i would do it before that way if a little paint goes where its not supposed to be no big deal

  4. After!!  Your new paint job will get all beat up during the remodel!
