Should I pick up Gagne I am, 3rd in waivers?

No, there is no sign that he is going back to the closer role. Torres is doing fine in that role now.

Don't waste your waiver on someone who will hurt other statistical categories such as WHIP and ERA!  He may earn some saves but is just too risky.

Keep your eye on the FA market and eventually the next fill in closer will become available.

There's got to be another closer out there on the free agent list. I wouldn't use my 3rd position on Gagne. Like the other guys said, he probably won't even have the job once he comes back.
