Should I pick up Garry Sheffield of the F/A my team needs a bit of pop! When is he coming back?

I would look elsewhere. He has a shoulder injury which is usually a power killer. If you can find another option for s little pop, I would take it. Shef won't play fulltime and probably won't hit for a lot of power.

I'd look for a bump from some young guy like Ian Stewart (Col) or even an Eric Hinske. They will both get more ABs and will probably have better power numbers the rest of the season.

He should be back in a couple of weeks. I think he's a good pickup if you have someone useless on your team. He will obviously play better than the pathetic numbers he put up earlier.
