Should I pierce my belly button?

I love the belly button piercing! I already know what I want to put in it and where to get it, I just don't know if I can take the pain. I can take shots very well. The "terrible tetnus shot" was nothing for me. People say belly buttons are like a shot. I don't know if I can believe that though. Is self piercing safe if you buy a kit? How bad does it hurt if you numb it? (Some people say numbing doesn't work) My friend said I could use the cheap numbing medicine that elps you tooth feel no pain. (Like 5-7 in the drugstore)

Get it if you want it.  You can always take it out and let it grow in if you hate it.  Never do a self-piercing.  Many people are (stupidly) successful with it, but why risk an infection or something worse?

The pain is nothing.  Even if it's the most intense pain you've ever felt, it's for like... what?  1/2 of a second?  You'll be fine.

If u want it done so bad..then get it PROFESSIONALLY done dont go an do it yourself u could get an infection

i think you should because they are very pretty and are the perfect accuracy to your bathing suit...but you should also think about ...what if you get it hooked on the edge of something and you don't know it... and then you terr the skin right off [ewwwwww..]

the best thing to do is have a professional do it for you. I dont see a problem with a belly peircing. I think they are really cute. Im not sure about the pain. Ive heard people say it hurt and others say the exact opposite. It really depends on how you endure pain. Hope this helps : )

it only pinched me and i got it done at 16 now im 18 and i regret having it done already! make sure you are sure. i love my tattoo but im starting to hate my naval piercing. its nothing once you decide, the pain is a prick and the care is easy. good luck.

no i would totally get it done professionally, its just like a little pinch! before i got mine done i tried piercing it like 3 times! it hurt so bad! i wouldn't recommend it

Belly button piercings are adorable, and the pain really isn't that bad at all. You will really be okay. I'm not much for pain and I've had my belly pierced twice, just go for it. They look super cute.

No dear - your belly button is precious and indicates, to anyone who looks at it ,  how well you were delivered.......do NOT pierce it.....LOVE it as it is....and if you can....l**k the fluff out of it.!!!!!
