Should I play varsity or JV?

my coach said i could be a back up varsity corner and play like 1 quarter in every varsity game or play sophmore and play the whole game (corner and reciever) what should i do? I have the size and speed to do okay at varsity 6'0 160 and i run track (sprints) but i want to get better so i want playing time

  3. if u are a senior or junior then definitely play varsity and earn your letter...otherwise why risk getting hurt? If one of the guys goes down you'll probably be called up anyway

  4. You will do better with girls if you go up to the varsity as a Soph.

  6. I'm 15 too, I play JV and I'm 6'7 and 205 pounds.

    JV is the way to go, you will have more fun, believe me. These are all kids at your level, and you are less likely to get hurt.

  7. go for varsity all the ways u could get on he field he could get hurt he could stink up in games and u could get your shot. theres also grades and things he can slip up on so go for varsity.

  8. Playing against varsity will get you the exp of playing people that are good. You will be ahead of the other sophmores come your junior year becuase you know what to expect on the varisty level

  9. Stay in at JV so that you can get more gametime experience.  

  10. nothing beats Friday Night Lights go for varsity
