Should I present the stole of gratitude to my professor a year after graduation?

I graduated last year from a community college and in the midst of the celebration, congratulations etc I missed my professor and hence could not give him the stole of gratitude that was intended for him. I went home and everything was put away until i was getting ready to move this week. I found it hidden in my closet. I was just wondering, is it too late to give it to him now? I would really love to do that and also I just found out that he has retired and been trying to locate him. Any advice?

  1. yes, i think it would be a nice gesture, especially as you have had to hunt him down

you could ask at the college, if they would contact him on your behalf. they might not give you his details for security, but you can ask them to pass on your details to him

else try friends re-united, or just google his name. you never know!
