My sister in law cashed a check that was under my name, it was only for $70. We owe her about $50 and she says it's $500 but is lying. She lies all the time she even told me that my husband told her it was ok for her to sign and cash it, when he knew nothing about it and wouldn't lie to me. So now she is also black mailing me ssying if I press charges she will say we owe her $500 and takes us to court. We originally lived together and just paid each other with cash for half the utilities so thats where she thinks she can get away with $500. My husband says just leave it alone so he can keep some kind of relationship with his brother someday, but I really don't like this girl, she has lied, put my life and marriage through h**l, laid her hands on my two year old dauighter and is just a complete witch* So I think for once she deserves what she gets. I don't think I would be doing anything wrong. ........Oh and Me and my husband said we would pay them every penny they think we owed them even $500 just to keep them from ever saying we owed them money, but they won't accept it cuz then they have no blackmail. What should I do???

  1. me, personally i wouldnt want to cause problems..i would write them a check for the 500.00 and then stay away from them..if they dont cash the check then at least you have proof you attempted to pay it..

that way if your hubby wants to c his brother then he can..

just you and your daughter stay away...

your hubby even said to let it go...so out of respect for your husband i would comply with him..

  2. write them a check for $500, better yet, get a certified bank check so if they don't cash it, you still have proof.  then let the $50 check go, but IF she does it again, bring charges against her.

  3. i think you should press charges i think she is a total bit**

  4. let her take you to court. she has no proof you owe her anything. whether it is 50 or 500. She is the one that would go to jail for cashing a check that wasn't hers. stand up for yourself. I am assuming you are telling the truth here.
