Should I press charges on a Juvinile who ding dong ditching me, kids looking to do this READ?

I was watching TV, and I have another monitor that has 16 security cameras on it and I saw a kid RUNNING up my driveway. I got up before he got to the door and he rang my intercom, BTW it has a CAMERA built IN TO IT and you can't miss it. So I ran outside and saw it was a group of 12~14 year olds. I do have signs posted on my property saying CCTV in operation and have signs that state "you will be charged with criminal trespass" I have the kid on video comming up the drive. His friends where also going to other houses and doing this when I was outside talking to one of the kids. I did not hold up any of them. I was able to identify them by looking in a school year book, then got there address threw a school directory. I haven't done anything yet. Should I call my sheriff and tell him to charge the kid with trespassing and disturbing the peace and distruction of property since he tour threw our landscape. I am not worried about retaliation at night since I have the cameras and a security guard at night that is walking the property.

Should I call the parents, call police. This neighborhood also has alot of seniors.

If you are concerned they are disrupting the peace and its a problem in the neighborhood and not a 1 time thing, i would suggest contacting the parents. Ding dong ditching is just a silly childhood game and should be treated as such.

You say it is the FIRST and LAST time it has happened and you have already talked to the kids about it? You call walking across your lawn "Destruction of Property"? GOOD GRIEF Lighten Up...what a GRINCH you are...they are just kids that STOPPED when you asked them too...I'm pretty sure your little funny sign could be construed as Terriorist Threats if one of their Parent were to Pursue that avenue...just leave it alone.

No.. But seriously, why do you have 16 cameras? And a guard? Unless you have a house valued over $10,000,000 and have a lot of enemies that this..

If you see them again, just tell em to shove off.

Being a dork like that is just inviting them to WANT to do it more. Dont be a dork.

What you do is, hide outside with the garden hose and spray them when they get close. You might even have fun!!!
