I'm a junior, and I am going to start Cross Country practice next week, and I heard that the school has a new rule that even practice clothes for sports have to be school appropriate. Before we could wear cut-off T-shirts, (we can't wear tank tops) and shorts that you're hands don't touch (that's the rule for how long your shorts/skirt have to be.) But yea, this will mean we can't wear cut-offs for practice anymore. I wear cut-offs not because I want to show more skin, but because It gets really hot outside or in the gym with a full T-shirt on, and I get over heated easily and this has caused me to faint (for real) before during class a few times or at sports.
One time in 6th grade I fainted (for real) on the 3rd day of school, and afer that, my reading group got to read in the air conditioned computer room next door. I found this a little embarassing, but my reading group loved it.
My friends, from cross country, who were in that group in 6th grade, and I came up with a plan for me to fake faint in front of the principle and then complain that it's too hot because of the t-shirt.
I want to do it, because I beleive we should be able to wear cut-offs, and I really am worried abbout the over heating thing, for real. I'd rather create a fake situation where I get overheated than have to deal with a real one later, which could be really dangerous.
BUT, I'm not completely sure it would even help to let us be able to wear cut-offs, I think it would be embarassing to have the whole school know it was because I fainted, and then when they ask me about it I'll know that it was fake. Im not even sure I could pull it off, anyway.
But, yea. Let me know of any thoughts you have on this, what you think I should do, tips on how to pretend to faint (I already read this:http://www.wikihow.com/Pretend-to-Faint)
soo... THANX
Ps I know there are a lot of misspelled words, but spell check quit popping up atfter a while and I don't know how to get it back.
