I am a part time student who has 10 courses to complete to get my undergraduate degree. however, i am also a full time employee and my employer is offering me a scholarship to pursue a degree in an area that is totally different from the degree i am currently pursuing. Since i am so close to finishing my first degree, i really would like to continue and finish it, but the scholarship my employer is offering is a great opportunity for me to improve my credentials (with pay) . Plus i believe it will be an asset to me in this changing work environment since i would be qualified in diverse areas. Am i crazy to try to pursue two degrees ? (yes i believe i can handle the workload)

  2. i thought this was going to be a question about u moving to alaska or something.

  3. sure. two degrees makes you more marketable and shows your well rounded. go for it!

  4. I think u should go for it

  5. yeah if that's what you want

  6. More education is always a good idea...and to have it paid for by your employer is a HUGE fringe benefit.  Think of the amount of money that will be saving you. And, you are correct. It is an asset to have another degree.

  7. Go for it if you can do it. Stay an extra year if you need it - no shame in that. Your employer is paying you for another degree! Double majors always look better than single majors. If you want to go to grad school later on, make sure this second major doesn't lower your overall GPA.
