  1. Why Is It In Extream Heat To Begin With?  She Will Die Like That..

And No, Once A Friend Of Mines Guinea Pig Drowned In VERY Little Amount Of Water.

You Can Use A Little Spray Bottle To Mist Her Though, It Might Scare Her At First Though.

Just Put Her In The Shade By A Fan.

  2. While some people are saying yes, I would have to disagree.  While some guinea pigs may be smart and just lay in it, others will stick their noses in the shallowest of water and try breathing.  Don't ask me why, but some pets do it, I've seen it before.  If this happens, worst possible thing is she'll get liquid in lungs and die.  ):

Try this instead!  Put a plate in the freezer for an hour.  That way it chilled and you can lay it in her cage.  When it thaws, there will be a little condensation that could help her cool off, but not enough to hurt her or scare her.  A trick to try is using only two plates.  For an hour, put a plate in the freezer.  Then take it out and set it in your piggy's cage.  Return to the kitchen and put another plate in the freezer.  In an hour, take that plate and swap them, put the warmer plate back in the freezer.  ^^  If the plate ends up too cold for your piggy, you could always try leaving it in there for less time or leaving it in the refridgerator instead.

Try moving her cage away from a window if she is near one.  Especially if she's in a glass cage.  It'll just act like a magnifying glass and cook your poor piggy.

If she is in a glass cage, aim a short fan, level with the cage, at the glass on high.  If the noise doesn't scare her, then the wind will cool the glass and the inside a little.  I've heard that a fan on any rodent is not good though.  So make sure it is only hitting the glass.

Another tip, trying filling her water bottle everyday with fresh water.  Water is important especially when it gets hot.  Fresh water will ensure that your pet does not get dehydrated and she will feel content to drink as much as she wants.  Try putting ice in her water bottle too to help keep it chilled.  You can change it as often as you like just as long as she still has water.

  3. the water on the plate might frighten her so you should freeze a water bottle and after its frozen wrap a cloth around it and put it in the cage. if the guinea pig gets too hot it'll go by the bottle to cool off. you can also freeze a tile or something instead of a water bottle. changing the water daily helps too.

  4. You might also try getting a little spray bottle you can mist her with water :). She might enjoy that.

  5. Take a tupper ware container and lid fill with water then freeze it then put it in there for it to lay on or put a jar empty in the freezer so it gets cold for her to lay in or both she can die from that also maybe mist her off

  6. Yes. You get slate-things for them to lay on too.

But you shouldn't be keeping her in extreme heat, she will die. (I'm sorry to be so bland, but she will. Sorry!)

Use fans, a lot... it will kill.

  7. Theres a few different options to keep guinea pig from overheating. You could do that but she might make it spill all over her cage and that would be a huge mess. I've done that before but now instead i have a little spray bottle and if my guinea pig is too hot (you can tell by touching their coat to see if its hot or not) i spray him a couple of times and rub it in. Or you could fill the sink a couple of inches and let her swim for a little bit to cool her off. Like i said theres many different options. Hope it helps!
