I have a nine wk. old english bulldog. I feed him Royal Canine and put a half an egg in every serving. Is this ok? And can I give him orange juice?

  1. never give a dog a raw egg!!!

  2. Eggs are okay-good for their coats, maybe not at nine weeks.

Please tell me you are cooking these eggs!?

And, no, I wouldn't give him OJ.

  3. but what does this has to do with the bird section?

  4. First off, switch his food to something not full of by-products and fillers. Check out Flint River Ranch or WolfKing or California Natural. By far worth the extra money.

Egg won't hurt a dog. It's actually a good source of protein that's easily digested. Make sure you completely cook the egg first before giving it, of course.

Orange juice? Why on earth would you want to give your dog orange juice? I would be concerned about the acid and the additives in orange juice - any store bought juice for that matter unless it was 100% juice. Even so, I would stick to water only, and plenty of it, fresh and clean a couple times a day.

There are several fruits and veggies that are strict no-nos for dogs. Please read up on which are okay and which are not.

    Best Wishes!
